After watching an episode of "Smallville" the other night, he used the words "Superman,"  "mythos," and "vis-à-vis" all in one sentence.

 

Wow.  Are you also speechless in the presence of such pure, unadulterated dorkiness?

Alas, no...

My darling Attila is ADDICTED to that show... I've never watched the thing even though it's filmed here in Vancouver. To me, it seems that every single scene looks the same, two or three people have a very serious looking conversation, mood lighting, and that same piece of music in the background every time... the one that is supposed to portend something ominous. I'm serious... every... single... scene... the same.

Is your darling hubby also addicted to Stargate, Andromeda, Star Trek, and the Military Channel? UGH!!!! We are very PEACE-nik sorts of Canadian folk... so what the hell is he doing watching that channel?? Because it has lots of fast planes and machines and things.... boys.

Ahem. I will have you know I use the phrase vis-a vis with some regularity in my day to day conversations. Though perhaps not in conjunction with mythos and Superman, which catapults it into a whole new arena.
