The plans, they are being made.
So, I've already expressed by all-consuming jealousy over the fact that the big December Infertiles-on-Parade Luncheon will be held in the capital of our fine nation while I and my ample cleavage will be halfway across the country at that point.
In fact, I may be nearly all the way across the country at that point, as we usually do Christmas in Montana with the in-laws.
Why? Why do you do this to me, ladies?! And PRU is involved, of all people! The ultimate betrayal. I'm crushed.
Well, there is only one solution: plan an upper Midwestern Blogger luncheon and make them all jealous that they can't be with us.
Ha, I'm evil. Yet - very excited over the possibility of getting together with Alexa, Dooney, and Tania. Anyone else out there live in the upper Midwest? You're invited. Where should we get together - Minneapolis? Chicago? Fargo? Eau Claire? Rochester? I'm flexible.
As earlier mentioned, I'll be out of the state over the Christmas to New Year period. Perhaps we can get together in early 2006? Mid-January? Or before the big holiday rush?
I want to hear your ideas. We can make this HAPPEN, women! I will officially serve as planner, if you'll have me.

I can see why you would be jealous. I am confident that even if you do meet with the Midwest Brigade that I will still be number one in your heart.

Ok, I'm game...not too big on long distance traveling, although I do have a gps that could get me where I needed to be. I vote for Southern half of MN (twin cities down) or western WI. I mean, WI does have good cheese.
And by all means Molly, you can be the queen planner!

Oh I am so excited I could spit!!
It may just be my lazyness (laziness?) talking, but I feel obliged to say, Dooney, that the Twin Cities (I live in Saint Paul) has some lovely cheese as well. I am eating some right now....
Of course, Molly, you shall be our planning queen. Before the holiday rush works for me (I am terribly anxious to see that cleavage) but January would work too.
I will post about our gathering on my blog in the next few days-ish.
And as I have said before--Barren? The Midwest in Winter? We will be much more thematically consistent than that other gathering...
Though we will miss them, obviously.
