Those sure are some weird-ass names. But then again, you had to be smoking something to want to move away from this lovely east coast. Right? *snicker*.

Heh, I grew up in PA. We had: Intercourse, Virginville (I think it's in PA) and Blue Ball. There's an Altoona and a Germantown there as well. And say Conshohocken 3 times fast.

I think Vinnie Ha Ha and Spread Eagle are my favorites.
There's a sign on I-95 for a town called Flippen, Georgia that I've been driving past for years and it still always cracks me up.

ARH! ARH!
I think we Canadians could give you a run for your money though... how about Moosejaw, Medicine Hat, Salmon Arm, Climax, Regina ... or... where I live... Squamish between the Mamquam and Stawamus rivers.
Oh... and bonus points if you can pronounce Coquihalla and Coquitlam.

I think I'd like to commute between Schnappsville and Disco.

I love the Native American names. Here in Ohio (also one) we have things like
Monongahela (River)
Ashtabula
Wapakoneta
Cuyaghoga (County and River)
Tuscarawas (County)
Coshocton
There are more, I'm sure, but I thought of those quickly.

I know where lots of those places are!! I used to live in Madison (best town EVER!) and we vacation on Washington Island, which is off the end of Door County.
And you forgot a few of my favorite names like, Black Earth and Mazomanie.

Those are hilarious.
My favorite has always been Bucksnort, TN. What an attractive sounding place to live no?
Of course, close to where I live now is a town called Peculiar. And yes, they claim that everyone who lives there is a little peculiar.

Vinnie Ha Ha!? Of course I read that as Vinnie Hoo Hah, which is only slightly worse.

Oh, god, Manuela, I read that as "Climax, Regina"--one town!
Mmm...Schnappsville.

I'm going to use Sugar Bush as the new name for my vagina. Thanks!
